My name is Adrian Brüngger, born 1966, and I live with my wife and my three wonderful daughters near Basel, Switzerland.
Since I was a child, I was fascinated by photography. During high school, I developed b/w pictures in a wet lab there. I guess my goal back then was to recreate what I felt when I looked at a specific photograph my father had taken long before I was born. It showed a plough, standing abandoned in a field. When my father took the b/w image, it must have been a cold day, the field covered with snow or white frost, the cold metal of the plough black, the light a bit indifferent. For me, the image emanated a strong feeling of loneliness.
