This year, compensation for a rainy summer was paid in the form of a few golden autumn days. We went to several walks in the neighborhood; one to a farm nearby (http://www.mathis-hof.ch/) where the children (young and old) enjoyed a maize maze. They also sell pumpkins in a wide variety of colors, sizes, and shapes; I guess more than 100 types.
The autumn colors are just splendid when the sun is so bright as these days – they shall keep us warm in foggy November to come.
